Every donation and sign-up adds a new leaf to the tree. Make a one-off gift today through the Friends of Grounded and watch the tree come alive – your name, your leaf, your lasting mark on our community.
OUR PROJECTS
Our network of Grounded Growers grow fruit and veg in their gardens, on their balconies, in allotments, on window sills and even in the grounds of hotels.
Wherever we grow plants, we need pollinators, and bees are the best creatures for the job. We have seven bee colonies on the roof of the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe.
We have created a space where we are preserving, pickling, cooking, dehydrating and storing surplus fruit from gardens, public spaces and supermarkets.
Our garden hubs are the centre of our activity and education programmes. The main secret garden is a stunning Victorian walled garden nestled in a corner of Boscombe.
We run a range of initiatives to get food to the right places and the right people – those who really need it.
Making your own compost is a revolutionary acts, and one of the simplest and most effective things we can do to address the issues our planet’s facing.
