Project Description
LEARNING & SKILLS
sharing skills to help the community grow

At Grounded, we’re committed to providing people in our community with the skills and resources they need to grow their own food.
Whether it’s growing greens on a windowsill, creating and cultivating a vegetable patch or learning how to install an irrigation system, we’re here to help. We have a programme of workshops and experts on-hand to offer advice. Education sessions typically take place at our Secret Garden in Boscombe , and we aim to equip people with the knowledge they need to then grow at home, with the ultimate ambition of helping our community to become self-sufficient.
Our education programme doesn’t just cover food-growing skills, however. We also run a range of exciting events for people who want to enjoy a lifestyle in harmony with nature, from outdoor play sessions to hedgehog care and bee-keeping. Find out what’s coming up in our events section.
